as Its Exclusive Distributor for Japan

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- March 2, 2000 -- Superconductive Components, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SCCI) announced today the that Inorganic Division of Earth Chemical Co., Ltd has been retained as its exclusive distributor for the country of Japan.
"In the competitive international race to develop and commercial applications of high temperature superconductivity, the strength of the Japanese program is its size coupled with its endurance," stated Dr. Edward R. Funk, president of SCCI. "The national program is supported by strong commitments from government, large corporations and universities. Total investment in superconductivity in Japan is estimated to be twice that of the US. SCCI has a lot to gain by successfully penetrating the Japanese market for its superconductive powders, sputtering targets, Large Domain Levitators™, and related products."
Earth Chemical Co., Ltd., established in 1892 with current capital of more than 800,000,000 yen, manufactures and sells industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, agricultural chemicals, health foods and single crystal substrates.
