SCI Engineered Materials, Inc. is a global supplier and manufacturer of advanced materials for PVD thin film applications that works closely with end users and OEMs to develop innovative, customized solutions.
The primary responsibility of the Process Engineering Technician is to perform experiments and measurements under the direction of the Process Engineer. In addition, the Process Engineering Technician will assist the Process Engineer in scale-up and continuous improvement projects. This technician will be trained in the rotary sputter target bonding process and operate the rotary bond characterization equipment. This technician will also be responsible for operating and maintaining various physical characterization tools used by the Development andlor Quality Control departments such as X-ray sedigraph, XRF, XRD, CMM, Ultrasonic C-scanners, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and other thin film characterization equipment.
